Bicycles are amazing devices that let humans propel themselves across the surface of the earth using the power of our body. Bicycles are not only miracles of invention but also can be interpreted many ways. Eighteenth century bicyles had giant front wheels and little back ones. Riders sat 6 feet in the air but were able to move at speeds over 15-25 miles per hour. Amazing! Some bikes can be folded up into packages that are easy to be carried. Some bikes have 3 or 4 wheels. Some bikes can be peddled with your hands. The average person can carry 4 times their own weight on a bike. Ubiquitous in big cities and countries such as the Netherlands. Bikes are a necessity in countries like Africa , Asia and many other parts of the world.

Proceeds from the contest will benefit bicycle related non-profit organizations.

Contest Rules
All submitted designs are limited to a maximum of eight (8) colors not including the color of the shirt. All submitted designs must be the original work of the participant. Works previously published in any location other than Thropic.com may not be submitted. Winning shirts are determined by a combination of voting results, member comments, Thropic staff and guest jurors.

Winners receive $250.00 (US dollars) cash and $250 of Thropic.com store credit, plus residuals.
